Coming from a background of classical music, film score, and classic rock to create a unique and expressive sonic palette for the stage and the screen, Shriya Bharadwaj is a Boston-based Film Composer, Orchestrator, Electroacoustic Composer and Flautist. She is currently an Intern at RedCola music for Film and TV, contributing composition and sound design to the company which is best known for its music to trailers such as Oppenheimer and Jurassic World 

She completed her undergrad at Berklee College of Music, double majoring in flute performance and film scoring, and is pursuing her Masters at the USC Thornton School of Music.  Shriya's greatest musical inspirations are Maurice Ravel, Lowell Liebermann, Igor Stravinsky, John Williams, Jimmy Page, and Hans Zimmer

As a composer, she strives to combine the sounds of artists like Debussy and Ravel, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, and John Williams and Hans Zimmer to create an exciting blend of electronic and orchestral elements.  Shriya's music studies began with classical piano and Indian Classical singing at the age of 4.  At the age of 8, Shriya began studying classical flute.  Playing flute in several orchestras and chamber groups exposed Shriya to the vast classical repertoire and the art of orchestration.

At Berklee, Shriya is a recipient of the Matt Marvuglio Award.  She is the principal flute of the Berklee Motion Picture Soundtrack Orchestra and former principal piccolo of the Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra, and the president of the Berklee Flute Society.  She has played in over 100 film scoring sessions and has worked on several student film and arranging projects.  Her upcoming projects include two independent films premiering in Cambridge, MA, and Los Angeles, California, and a flute duet premiering at the Pucker Art Gallery, and a flute recital in March of 2026
